The Humans of WERKIN

WERKIN_Women helping each other.jpg

Inspired by the Humans of New York movement, we connected with our community to check-in and listen to their stories.

Interviewing the people who have participated in our programs, we were so excited, inspired, and humbled by how lucky we are to spend time (albeit virtually) with these humans.

Humans of WERKIN is a series about the people who make us, us. The people who really get to ‘Werk’ on the WERKIN platform are the rebels, the trailblazers, and the ones who want to see and take part in, the future of work in the new world.

Our networks are so important. Did you know that on average humans have 3-5 close connections? (Dunbar’s Theory). But, that circle extends to 150 less personal, but equally important, acquaintances? 150 really is the magic number.

Think about it. This year, which friends, family, or co-workers have got you through in one piece? You can probably count the number on one hand, as the theory above suggests. But we have been starkly feeling the loss of that 150. The feelings of isolation and loneliness comes from those missed connections to our wider circles.

We invite you to join ours.

We’ll be uploading new interviews with fabulous humans weekly so please sign up below or check back, and stay connected.

If you would like to nominate someone (including yourself!) as a rebel, trailblazer, or changemaker, please get in touch.
