WERKIN has joined the Kent & Medway ICS Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Framework.

Mentoring is what we do. Inclusion is why we do it.

We run career acceleration programmes, delivered via mentoring and sponsorship to support underrepresented groups and their allies. We have experience in:

  • Traditional Mentoring

  • Reverse Mentoring

  • Inclusive Mentoring

  • Mutual Mentoring

As well as developing programmes specifically for:

  • Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic employees (BAME)

  • LGBT+ employees

  • Disabled employees

  • Women and non-binary employees

WERKIN was founded with the sole aim to increase representation and belonging for underrepresented and marginalised groups. We turn good intentions into real, measurable and scalable action.

WERKIN and Healthcare

Changing the lives of employees inside the NHS.

WERKIN has already run programmes and initiatives within the NHS, and we have seen outstanding results for individuals and the organisation, including:

  • An increase in psychological safety of participants

  • An 80% increase in professional and personal confidence amongst both mentees and mentors.

  • A significant increase in DEI knowledge and capabilities for senior leaders in supporting diverse people and teams.

  • A notable increase in promotion rates among under-represented communities.

“Being part of a mentorship, having peer support from others, has increased my confidence. It’s been a real learning curve, and the group has really helped to go for opportunities. ”
