Yes! While we ask you to choose between mentoring or business growth when signing up for your free trial, you can change your mind at any point. You have full access to the admin dashboard where you can create any program you like.
How is WERKIN for Business and Teams different to your platform?
The WERKIN Platform is a fully-featured web application with mentoring dashboards, communities and groups, goal tracking, scheduling, leaderboards, rich data reporting and more. Our WERKIN for Business and Teams offering, is a light version of the product without the app interface, that delivers nudges to your inbox and gives you an admin dashboard to run them.
Does WERKIN for Business and Teams have programs for both mentoring and business growth?
Yes! WERKIN for Business and Teams allows you to create and run many different program types, simultaneously if you want. For mentoring you can choose between traditional career, reverse or network (peer) mentoring. For our Business Growth Bootcamp we have 5, 12 and 30 day challenges. When you sign up for a free trial, we recommend you choose either mentoring or business growth to get started.
What on earth is a ‘nudge’ and how does it work?
Based on insight from the behavioural data of thousands of successful mentoring relationships, WERKIN has crafted intelligent ‘nudges’ that guide and shape behaviour. Together these nudges are delivered as a ‘program’ with a specific end goal in mind i.e. career mentoring or business growth.
To get a bit technical, Nudge Theory is a way to create change through choice architecture. This simply means that your employees will make better choices if you present them in the right way at the right time.
Using the full WERKIN platform, nudges are delivered in many ways, including alerts and notifications as well as embedded in the very UI of the app. When using WERKIN for Business and Teams, they are delivered via email. Both use behavioural data and feedback loops to deliver timely, intelligent and effective nudges.
My team are already so busy, how do we fit this into our schedules?
WERKIN for Business and Teams is designed to fit around the work that needs to be done. You and your team are setting new habits through regular practice, and it’s the nudges that keep you practicing regularly.
Clear expectations are set at the beginning of each week for any tasks to be done and each employee can schedule their time accordingly. Timely nudges will be delivered to drive action and capture feedback.
How does a mentoring program work?
Once you have signed up, it takes less than 5 minutes to set up a program using your personalised admin dashboard. You can decide what type of program you want to run (traditional career, reverse or network mentoring), who can join and when you want to start. People are automatically matched to others in the available pool and the program takes care of the rest.
The program establishes good mentoring practices: it helps people to set and track their career goals, brokers connections and meet ups between matches, captures feedback on an ongoing basis and tracks the outcomes. People are re-matched based on the cadence that you set.
How does the Business Growth Bootcamp work?
Once you have signed up, it takes less than 5 minutes to set up a challenge using your personalised admin dashboard.
You can choose between a 5, 12 or 30 day challenge, who can join and when you want to start. People are automatically assigned a buddy for support during the challenge.
You and your team will be coached to build the right kind of culture to support business growth, shown how to develop and execute measurable business growth experiments and validate their potential. The nudges will keep the team on point to deliver both quicks wins and visibility into massive growth opportunities for your business.
